Introducing Tinta Crayons. With Easter coming up and everyone spending more time at home with their families and children I wanted to introduce you to Tinta Crayons. I met Maria and Maria on the market scene a few years ago now and love their adorable shaped, non toxic crayons. These two lovely ladies are passionate about creating healthy crayons for kids to play and draw with.
They have a huge range of shapes and letters from dinosaurs to astronauts and even Australian themed crayons. Tinta’s story below.
Tinta Crayons was established in Melbourne in 2015 by Maria Fletcher and Maria Porto. As mums of young children, they knew crayons were often chewed or put in kids’ mouths but a safe alternative, free of toxic substances, was hard to find. The solution? They made it themselves!
After many hours of research and testing, Tinta Crayons has created the perfect mix to produce natural, organic and sustainable crayons. Free from palm, soy and paraffin waxes (a by-product of petroleum) and pigments that are free from heavy metals, asbestos and other toxic substances, Tinta Crayons are safe, eco-friendly and they smell nice too!
Tinta Crayons love to support local suppliers and source all our 100% recyclable packaging from within Australia. We pride ourselves on every client having a great experience – easy ordering, fast delivery and a high-quality product that kids will use again and again.
This Easter we have a set of nine Easter egg shaped crayons. They are a perfect non-chocolate gift for kids this Easter. Each set contains a combination of six different designs, including a bunny, a chick and four different decorative styles. These designs are unique to Tinta Crayons. There are nine colours in each box: sunshine yellow, orange, pastel pink, purple, red, sky blue, green, brown and black.
